Gretzky’s 20 year NHL career saw him retire holding 61 individual records. Playing 1487 games during his legendary career, Wayne scored an amazing 894 Goals and 1,963 assists for an incredible total of 2,857 points. Highlights of his career include: 4 Stanley Cups, 10 Art Ross Trophies, 9 Hart Trophies, 2 Conn Smythe Trophies, 5 Lester B. Pearson Awards, 4 Lady Byng Memorial Trophies, most goals, most assists and most points for a single season. Wayne also played in 16 NHL All Star Games, scored the fastest 50 goals in 39 games during a single season, recorded the longest consecutive scoring streak of 51 games and represented Canada in 4 Canada Cups in 1981, 1984, 1987, and 1991. And the list goes on.
Artist Daniel Parry depicts Wayne Gretzky during his last game in one of his signature poses, his arm resting on the boards watching the game intensely as he did in hundreds of games.
